H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, is actively participating in the Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) from April 15 to 20 in Washington, D.C. The meetings gather delegations and representatives from various countries to address global challenges, focusing on financing, knowledge enhancement, private sector investments, and crisis preparedness.


During her attendance, Minister El-Said is engaging in several pivotal sessions, including discussions on policy-making during conflict, enhancing economic stability for conflict-affected nations, promoting inclusive growth and gender equality, and understanding capital flows and growth dynamics. Additionally, she will join an IMF session on the regional economic outlook for the Middle East and Asia.


Minister El-Said’s agenda also features meetings with key figures from the World Bank and IMF leadership, as well as interactions with prominent investors and discussions on public investment management with the IMF team.
