COP27 Highlights: Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development meets with “Meta” to discuss means of cooperation.

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, held a meeting with Shaden Khallaf, President of the Meta Company for Public Policy for the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, to discuss ways of cooperation with the company.
This came on the sidelines of the activities of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), which Egypt is hosting in Sharm El-Sheikh until November 18, in the presence of some world heads of state, and wide international participation.The meeting witnessed a review of the most significant areas of cooperation between the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the global company. This was done through the use of metaverse technology in developing plans.Opportunities for cooperation were also reviewed regarding the Decent Life Initiative. This program trained youth in the villages of the Presidential Initiative, raising their capabilities and supporting their use of Meta's platforms.The meeting took place in the company of Colonel Mustafa Al-Sahli, Vice President of Governmental Relations, Moharram & Partners Company for Public Policies, Brigadier General Sharif Bandari, Vice President of Public Policy at the company, Iwan Griffon, Director of Sustainable Development Strategy at Meta Company, and Sarahah Gad, Public Policy Analyst.
